Alliances are much like a sorority or fraternity in university. They back there members up and have initiation ceremonies. You can't choose to be put into an alliance, the leaders of it will initiate you when you least expect it, usually they will wake you up of a night time and take you to be initiated. Alliances have no set member requirments but if the leaders dont like you, dont count on getting in.
